Terms of Service

What Routely is
Routely is a service for people who run PHPNuxBill. It receives the messages PHPNuxBill wants to send and passes them to the SMS gateways you set up: an Android phone, or an SMS provider such as Termii, Africa's Talking or Twilio. Routely is run by Focuslinks Digital Solutions ("we"), based in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in.
- One account can connect more than one PHPNuxBill site. Disconnecting a site stops its keys working.
- You must be old enough to make a binding agreement and be allowed to run the network you send for.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan has no end date and no charge. Its limits (messages a day and a month, gateways) are shown on the Pricing page and may change; we will tell you by email before a change that lowers them.
- Paid plans are bought for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Paying for longer can cost less per month; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payments go through Paystack. We never see or keep your card details.
- Plans do not renew by themselves. We email you before a paid plan ends. If you do not renew, your account moves to the Free plan after a short grace period. Your gateways are kept.
- Time you have already paid for carries over when you change plan. Refunds follow the Refund Policy: a full refund within 7 days of a payment, and a charge made in error is always put right.
Your gateways and costs
- The SMS providers you connect are your own accounts with them. You pay them directly for the messages they send; Routely does not pay for them.
- You give us a provider's keys so we can send on your behalf. We keep them encrypted and use them only to send your messages and check that they work.
- Limits per minute, hour and day protect your numbers from being blocked, but they are not a guarantee. You are responsible for what your numbers and sender names are used for.
What you may send
Send only messages your customers expect from you, such as bills, receipts, vouchers and service notices. You must follow the laws and the telecom rules that apply to you, including rules on sender names and on marketing messages. Do not use Routely for spam, scams, harassment, anything illegal, or to avoid a provider's rules. We may pause or close an account that does this, and we will say why unless the law stops us.
What we promise, and what we do not
- We work to keep Routely running, but we do not promise it will never be down or slow. PHPNuxBill keeps working if Routely is unreachable, and messages that could not be handed over are not sent.
- "Sent" means the gateway accepted the message. It does not mean the phone received it. Delivery depends on the provider and the mobile network.
- Features marked "coming soon", such as WhatsApp and VPN, are not part of the service until they are released.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost revenue, lost customers or other indirect loss from messages that were late, blocked or not delivered, or from a gateway or provider failing. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending the service
You can stop at any time by disconnecting your sites and not renewing. We may end the service to an account that breaks these terms, or the whole service with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. For a change that matters we will email you before it applies. Using Routely after that means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
