Routely

One route for every message PHPNuxBill sends

Connect your phones and SMS providers once. Routely shares your messages across them, rests a gateway that fails or reaches its limit, and keeps your numbers from being blocked. WhatsApp and VPN to routers behind NAT are on the way.

The free plan has no end date and needs no card.

How Routely routes a message PHPNuxBill sends a message to Routely. Routely passes it to Termii and Africa's Talking, which are working. Twilio is resting after failures and an Android phone has reached its per-minute limit, so Routely skips both. A dotted line shows a VPN tunnel to a router, coming soon. Everything your network sends and connects, from one account

One subscription inside PHPNuxBill. Messages and tunnels share the same account, the same plan and the same place to manage them.

SMS through your own gateways

Invoices, reminders, vouchers and sign-in codes leave PHPNuxBill as they always did. Routely picks the gateway: an Android phone, Termii, Africa's Talking, Twilio, or any provider with a web address.

WhatsApp messages

Link a number and send the same messages on WhatsApp.

VPN to routers behind NAT

Reach a MikroTik router that has no public IP address.

Coming soon

Messages find another way, and your numbers stay safe

Phones get blocked when they send too fast, and providers go down at the worst time. Routely handles both.

  • A limit for every gateway. Set messages per minute, hour and day on each one, and add a short pause between messages. A message that is over a limit waits and goes out when there is room. It is not dropped.
  • A failing gateway rests. After three failed messages in a row it sits out for five minutes, and the message goes to the next gateway straight away.
  • The same person, the same gateway. Turn on sticky routing and a customer keeps hearing from the same number.
  • You see what happened. History shows which gateway sent each message, and why one is waiting.
How messages are shared between gateways
FailoverUse the first gateway, and the next only when it cannot send. Included on every plan.
Round robinTake turns, so no single number carries everything.
WeightedSend more through the gateway you trust more, or the one that costs less.
Least usedAlways pick the gateway that has sent the least lately.

Routely adds one entry to your admin menu. Everything below is a real page of the plugin, shown here with sample data.

Sent today, success rate, a 14-day chart, and anything that needs attention.

Bring the gateways you already pay for

Routely sits between PHPNuxBill and your provider. You keep your own accounts and pay the provider directly, so Routely never adds a per-message fee. Your provider keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again.

Pricing

Start free. Move up when you need more messages, more gateways, or routing between them.

Loading the plans…

You choose and pay for a plan inside PHPNuxBill, under Routely, then Pricing. Prices are in naira. Plans do not renew by themselves: you pay on a secure Paystack page when you choose to, and we email you before a plan ends.

Compare the plans

In every plan

  • A limit per minute, hour and day on every gateway
  • A pause between messages, so a phone is not flooded
  • 90 days of history, with the gateway that sent each message
  • One click to retry a message that failed
  • Provider keys stored encrypted, never shown again
  • The plugin itself, free to install

Your own provider charges you for the messages it sends. Routely adds no fee per message.

Built so you can trust it with your billing

PHPNuxBill keeps working

If Routely is ever unreachable, your billing, hotspot and PPPoE carry on. Only the messages that could not be handed over wait.

No surprise charges

Nothing renews on its own. When a paid plan ends, your account drops to the free plan and keeps your gateways.

Only what is needed, only for a while

Message history is kept for 90 days, then deleted. Card details go to Paystack, never to us.

Safe to try

Disconnect a site in one click and its keys stop working at once.

Questions

Does Routely charge for each SMS?

No. Your plan covers the routing and the service. The messages themselves are sent by your own provider or phone, and you pay them directly for those.

Which PHPNuxBill do I need?

PHPNuxBill Ultimate 2025.11.1 or newer, on PHP 8.2 or newer.

What happens when my paid plan ends?

After a short grace period your account moves to the free plan. Your gateways are kept and sending continues within the free limits. Pay again at any time to get your plan back.

Will it renew by itself?

No. We email you 7, 3 and 1 days before a plan ends, and you decide whether to pay.

Can I use several gateways at once?

Yes. That is what the paid plans are for: more gateways, and strategies such as round robin and weighted routing. The free plan has one gateway.

Are WhatsApp and VPN available?

Not yet. They are being built and will use the same account and plan. The pages in the plugin say “coming soon” until they are ready.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of a payment you can have it back in full, and a charge made in error is always put right. After 7 days the period you paid for is not refunded, and your plan keeps working until its end date. Read the Refund Policy.
